    Hi y'all, with Thanksgiving right around the corner, I wanted to share one of my favorite Thanksgiving Desserts with you!

 

    Pumpkin Dump Cake Recipe: With this recipe, I got the base idea from https://cookiesandcups.com/pumpkin-dump-cake/. However, I added a little more to make it like my own. I mixed 1TBSP of vanilla extract in with 4 TBSP of cinnamon with the initial pumpkin mix. I also would use about 10oz of pumpkin instead of 15 ounces. After I sprinkled the cake mix on top, I added more cinnamon to the cake. 

    

    The first time I tried to make this recipe a few years ago I had no idea how to cook or bake whatsoever. And boy did I mess it up big time. I accidentally didn't read the directions and actually made the cake mix and poured it on which is NOT what you are supposed to do! It was a terrible mess! Also, don't forget to let the cake cool before applying the cool whip! Luckily, I have learned from my mistakes, and it has been a big hit ever since!
